Vernon Fleming

Race: Godseed / Class: Warlock

Vernon holds a special place in my heart as my first real attempt at a character for Dungeons & Dragons.

I originally created Vernon intending for him to be a vampire, and proprietor of the vampiric dating service, Neck Romancer. However, after some discussion with Jaycorn, we landed on what he would eventually become: a charlatan with a dark secret who operates a scarf shop (also called Neck Romancer) with his grandmother, Guinnaise.

Vernon is a Godseed, which is to say that he's a demigod born into human flesh. He has a pact with the Great Urthropod, a celestial crab being with a childlike naivety. Over the time he has shared with the rest of the party, some of his unscrupulous tendencies have diminished, but he still holds on tightly to his love of money and disdain for taxes. Still, he feels a creeping sense of affection and even... love... for his newfound family.

Appearance

Vernon is tall and thin with a pale complexion. He has long, flowing dark hair and a black moustache. He has dark eyes.
